Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

At DitchTheCans, we currently ship within the United States only. All orders are fulfilled on demand through our trusted manufacturing partner Supliful and shipped directly to your door. Please read this policy so you know exactly what to expect after placing your order.

 

1. US-Only Shipping

At this time DitchTheCans ships exclusively to addresses within the 50 United States including Alaska and Hawaii. We do not currently ship to US territories (Puerto Rico, Guam, US Virgin Islands), APO/FPO military addresses, or any international destinations.

We plan to expand our shipping to additional countries in the future. Sign up for our email list at DitchTheCans.com to be notified when international shipping becomes available.

 

2. Order Processing Time

All orders are processed within 2–5 business days of purchase. Orders placed on weekends or federal holidays will begin processing on the next business day. You will receive an email confirmation with your tracking number once your order has shipped.

 

3. Shipping Methods & Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times within the United States after processing:

        Standard Shipping: 5–10 business days

        Expedited Shipping: 2–4 business days (when available at checkout)

These are estimates only. Actual delivery times may vary due to carrier delays, severe weather, or high order volumes. DitchTheCans is not responsible for carrier delays beyond our control.

 

4. Shipping Rates

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and order weight. Current standard rates:

        Standard Shipping: .99–.99 (most orders)

        Free shipping promotions are offered periodically — join our email list to stay notified

Your exact shipping cost will always be displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.

 

5. Tracking Your Order

Once your order ships you will receive an email with your tracking number. Use this number to track your package directly on the carrier website (USPS, UPS, or FedEx depending on your location). Please allow 24–48 hours for tracking to update after receiving your shipping confirmation.

 

6. Incorrect Shipping Address

Please double-check your shipping address before completing your order. If you notice an error immediately after placing your order contact us at support@ditchthecans.com as soon as possible with your order number. Once an order has been picked up by the carrier we are unable to redirect it and cannot be held responsible for packages delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer.

 

7. Lost or Stolen Packages

If your tracking shows your package as delivered but you have not received it please:

        Check with all household members and around all entry points of your home

        Check with neighbors in case it was delivered nearby

        Contact your local post office or carrier with your tracking number

        Wait 2 business days as packages are sometimes marked delivered early

If the package still cannot be located email us at support@ditchthecans.com with your order number and we will open an investigation with the carrier. We may offer a one-time replacement at our discretion after the investigation is complete.

 

8. Undeliverable Packages

If your package is returned to us as undeliverable due to an incorrect address, failed delivery attempts, or refusal of delivery we will contact you to arrange reshipment. Reshipment costs are the responsibility of the customer. If you choose not to have the order reshipped a refund will be issued for the product cost only — original shipping fees are non-refundable.

 

9. Damaged in Transit

If your order arrives damaged please email support@ditchthecans.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the damaged package and product. We will send a replacement at no cost or issue a full refund — your choice.
